Olivia McLaren
Olivia's weekly classes focus on functional and mindful movement. Classes are planned with simplicity in mind based on foundational yoga poses, which are offered with thoughtful modifications to make the class accessible to all ages and abilities. She believes in making movement a joyful experience so classes are friendly and light-hearted, aimed at those who wish to explore yoga for both physical and mental wellbeing.
She also offers workshops and mini-retreats in Lewes and surrounding areas in East Sussex. These offerings are planned with busy parents in mind, who really need the time and space to nourish their body and mind, but have precious little time. The intention of these workshops and mini-retreats is to help the body and mind unwind and reset through the nurturing practice of restorative yoga.
Olivia sees her role as a guide rather than a teacher, as she encourages self-agency in her students to listen to their own bodies to find balance between self-discipline and self-compassion.
